ABG IP promotes ten new partners

We are very pleased to announce that, effective today, ten new members will join the partnership of our firm, in addition to the six we had until now.

These are internal promotions for professionals within our team who work in different areas in the Madrid, Barcelona, and Bilbao offices: 

Beatriz Ibáñez
Master’s Degree in Financial Management. She heads the Accounting and Finance Department. At ABG since 2004.

Laura de la Vega
PhD in Physics and European Patent Attorney (2012). In the Engineering, Physics, and Information and Communications Technology (ICT) departments of ABG since 2007.

Tomás Llamas
PhD in Chemistry, European Patent Attorney (2012), and Spanish Patent & Trademarks Agent (2024). In the Chemistry, Materials and Pharmacy Departments of ABG since 2007.

Marta Rodríguez
PhD in Chemistry, European Patent Attorney (2013), and Spanish Patent & Trademarks Agent (2019). In the Chemistry, Materials and Pharmacy Departments of ABG since 2008.

Sofia Pettersson
PhD in Chemistry, European Patent Attorney (2015). In the Chemistry, Materials and Pharmacy Departments of ABG since 2010.

María Corral
PhD in Biochemistry and European Patent Attorney (2017). In the Biotechnology and Life Sciences Department of ABG since 2012.

Iain McGeoch
MSc. in Medicinal Chemistry and European Patent Attorney (2019). He is the head of ABG Euskadi. In the Chemistry, Materials and Pharmacy Departments of ABG since 2014.

David M. Cortés
Master in Human Resources Management (2009) and Master in Labour Risk Prevention (2009). He heads the Human Resources Department. Following an initial period in the company (between 2009 and 2012), he rejoined ABG in 2015.

André Santos
PhD in Organic Chemistry and European Patent Attorney (2021). In the Chemistry, Materials and Pharmacy Departments of ABG since 2016.

Laura Montoya
Lawyer specialising in the field of the Intellectual Property since 2002. She heads the Legal and Litigation Department. At ABG IP since 2020.
