We have been named “Trademark Prosecution Firm of the Year” at the Managing IP Awards.
Alongside representatives from many of the most prominent intellectual property firms in Europe, Christine Weimann, head of the trademark department, and our partner Iain McGeoch collected the trophy yesterday at a lavish event in London.
This is a great achievement for ABG IP because, despite the fact that we have won “Patent Prosecution Firm of the Year” six times in Spain, we are especially proud to have won the prize in trademark prosecution for patent and trademark attorney firms for the first time.
Our trademark department was established in 2006, only three years after the founding of our firm. From the beginning, Christine Weimann, attorney at law and Spanish patent and trademark agent, led a field that is now not only well-established but also included in the most significant international IP directories and rankings.
The Managing IP award, presented by one of the most respected intellectual property publications, was added to the list of accolades last night.
