We are pleased to inform that the European Patent Law course will begin on 28 September 2018 in Madrid.
The course is jointly organized by the School of Industrial Organization (EOI) and the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (OEPM) and is mainly designed for patent practitioners and all those who wish to start a professional career in this field and train to become European Patent Attorneys in the future. The course lasts two years (160 hours), sessions are held one Friday in a month, and in particular from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., totaling 11 sessions per year. The aim of the course is to provide a comprehensive systematic training on the different aspects of Substantive and Procedural Law relating to patents and includes numerous practical exercises, all of which is designed to be useful in daily practice.
The course includes tutors of recognized prestige in their respective areas and countries of origin, such as European patent attorneys, CEIPI tutors, IP lawyers, OEPM examiners and members of the Board of Appeal of the European Patent Office.
