“Ningún niño sin bigote”: The milk collection campaign for children at risk of poverty

As last year, the milk collection campaign “Ningún niño sin bigote” (“No child without a mustache”) is starting, promoted by Obra Social “la Caixa” and the Spanish Federation of Food Banks (FESBAL). From 27 May to 21 June, this action will focus on helping children at risk of exclusion.

Marc Simón, deputy director of La Caixa Banking Foundation said during the campaign presentation: “we want to break the circle of poverty from early childhood, a period in which food plays a crucial role in the development”. “Therefore, with this large collection of milk we want to help all children to have access to the first food of our lives: milk”.

More than 225,000 children each year need to use the Food Banks in Spain. ABG Intellectual Property supports this great initiative by placing several boxes in our offices to collect milk, so employees can contribute to this cause.

Thanks to the help of all those who collaborate in this campaign, in the past edition of (2018), around 1.5 million liters of milk were collected. Wehope that this year this amount can be exceeded.
