The Independent Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Catalonia (AIJEC) has awarded the Award for the Best Business Initiative of its 25th edition to Peptomyc.
Peptomyc is a spin-off of the Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology founded in 2014 by Doctors Laura Soucek and Marie-Eve Beaulieu and dedicated to the development of a new therapy against cancer. The company focuses on developing peptides against Myc for the treatment of certain cancers of the lung and breast, as well as against the brain tumor. The jury has assessed the benefits that this technology can bring to the society and how the statistics can be turned around, doubling the survival of the patients.
Since its founding, Peptomyc has been awarded with numerous prizes in national and international startup competitions, such as the EntrepreneurXXI Award in Catalonia, which Peptomyc won last March.
ABG IP is proud to collaborate with Peptomyc in the patent protection of its products.
