ABG Intellectual Property has been named “Patent Prosecution Firm of the Year” in Spain by two of the most prestigious industrial property rights magazines of the sector: Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) and World Trademark Review (WTR).
The Global IP Awards 2020 winners were revealed this Wednesday, 29 January 2020, in a ceremony held in London. These accolades recognise law and attorney firm excellence in the fields of trademark and patent work during 2019.
Francisco Bernardo, Founding Partner of ABG Intellectual Property, collected the award accompanied by the Head of the Legal & Litigation Department of ABG IP, José Miguel Lissén.
We believe that being named “Patent Prosecution Firm of the Year” is a recognition ABG Intellectual Property’s work. Every day, we strive to offer the best service to our clients and with the utmost professionalism. This award is a stimulus to continue working in that direction
A prestigious award
Over the past twelve months, journalists and IP researchers who are part of the IAM and WTR teams have selected the winners analyzing strategic data and taking into account their knowledge of the sector at an International level. Its Editor-in-chief, Joff Wild, said:
“They reflect the collective conclusions of a set of highly experienced individuals, with deep links in both the corporate and legal worlds, who are based in our offices in London, Washington DC and Hong Kong. In total there are 17 of them and they talk to the market day in, day out throughout the year.”
Since 2012, IAM has also produced a ranking in which, year after year, ABG Intellectual Property appears at the head top positions of the “highly recommended” firms within the “Patent Prosecution” category. In addition, the individual selection of that list also recognises six of our team’s partners.
