We have strengthened our IP services to the Engineering sector at our Barcelona office thanks to the arrival of Diana Mariné. Diana is European Patent Attorney and Spanish Patent and Trademark Agent, with an extensive experience in the IP sector that spans more than 16 years.
Diana Mariné joins an Engineering, Physics and ICTs Department led by the partners, Fernando Prieto and Pablo Calvo, alongside Associate, Laura de la Vega. All of them are European Patent Attorneys and are in charge of a formidable team of engineers from many different disciplines, which include aeronautics and mechanics, computing, and telecommunications. The department serves clients from both, the public and the private sectors, regardless of their size, ranging from start-ups or SMEs to innovative large international corporations.
On the other hand, ABG IP office in Barcelona, where the engineer has joined, opened its doors back in 2007, as promoted by partner and European Patent Attorney, Enric Carbonell. In November of this year, we will therefore celebrate its 15th anniversary.

With the arrival of Diana, there are now 17 European Patent Attorneys in our team. The data consolidates our position as the Spanish intellectual property agency with the largest number of qualified technicians to act before the European Patent Office. In addition, we also increase the number of Industrial Property Agents in the workforce to 10.
